They make a big deal about it, making the “best hokey team” lose a game, just so Colt can say “I know you’ve always loved her. These characters were very well written, even though I wanted to strangle them a time or two throughout the book. They have been crushing on each other since she turned 15 and they've both been fighting their chemistry.

Diving into this world and getting to know each character has been incredible so far and I can’t wait to read more! By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file. Theo has had feelings for Blake for as long as he can remember but he can't cross that line even though it is getting harder to keep his distance and also doesn't do relationships or commitments.Sucked me right in from the beginning, I didn’t read Ash/ Colt’s story, Blakely is Colt’s sister and she transferred to his collage to study sports medicine and help the team. Theo and Blakely shared a history from childhood and were friends until the first time Theo saw her in a dress on her 15th birthday. This book involved more immaturity and lack of communication between the main characters which always has me yelling at their stupidity 😂 but it ended in a very sweet and happy way that made up for it. The angst broke my heart into a million little pieces but the love between Theo and Blakely put it back together again better than before, especially with Theo's grand gesture. But once Blakely goes to LAU and appears at a famous Taylor House party everything begins ro change.

And even though Blake said she hated him half the time she didn't give up on him, her maturity was one of her best qualities after the Sassy mouth of hers. She wasn’t as much of a badass as the first book lead us to believe and whilst I appreciate these are college kids it was a little immature for my tastes.I swear there aint nothing better than male desperation and the way it was described in Don't Let Me Go was amazing. He was remorseful for his behavior, He learned from his mistakes and tried making up things with Blake. She never listened either and the hypocrisy of her going on about communication when she was constantly shutting Theo out. I love the brothers best friend trope, and almost want to rate this higher because it had that trope, but no, you want that trope, there’s so many other books that’s better. This is the second book in the series, it is a brother's best friends sister, enemy's to lovers romance.
